Rental conditions (as of February 2024)

Please note the following rental conditions carefully and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

 

1. Access and access conditions

  • Access for lorries with trailers (width 2.55 m, length 18.5 m, height 3.6 m) or articulated lorries (width 2.55 m, length 16.5 m, height 4.0 m) to the stage location must be free.
  • No parked vehicles, tables, benches or superstructures may block the path at the agreed set-up/dismantling time.
  • Please take into account possible obstacles such as roadworks, subways that are too low, narrow gates or bridge weight restrictions.
  • In winter, measures must be taken against snow and ice at the installation site.
  • In the event of difficult access conditions and stage locations, the hire company must be informed in advance.
  • Damage to the platform and the towing vehicle shall be borne by the hirer.
  • The platform must be set up on a solid and stable surface.
  • The height difference between the highest and lowest point at the stage location must not exceed 25 cm.
  • Larger height differences must be discussed with the landlord in advance.
  • After consultation with the landlord, a forklift truck suitable for the local conditions, including personnel, may have to be provided.

2. Assembly & dismantling

  • The number of helpers and the set-up/dismantling times are specified in the offer.
  • The hirer must provide the number of helpers specified in the offer for the entire assembly and dismantling.
  • Helpers must be sober, physically able to cope with the strenuous work of stage construction and ideally have technical knowledge and experience in event technology.
  • In the case of stage extensions and FOH areas, the helpers must also be suitable for scaffolding over 2 metres high.
  • Personal protective equipment for the helpers must be provided by the hirer (safety shoes, work gloves, helmet, PPE against falls from a height, hearing protection).
  • Statutory working hours must be observed.
  • The times stated in the offer for assembly and dismantling serve as guidelines, but may vary depending on local conditions.

3. Power supply

  • An appropriate power supply must be available in the vicinity of the stage for the assembly and dismantling of our trailer stages. The exact requirements can be found in the data sheets.
  • The hirer shall provide a suitable connection for potential equalisation of the stage at a maximum distance of 10 m from the stage.

4. Ballasting

  • The hirer is obliged to fill the water tanks of the stage accordingly. The amount of water depends on the stage model and the wind zone (WZ) at the installation site.

5. Liability

  • The hirer is liable for all risks, damage and loss of the stage from handover to return.
  • The hirer shall bear all costs in the event of damage, including replacement and loss of use until the stage is repaired or replaced.
  • We recommend taking out suitable insurance and carefully securing and guarding the stage.

6. Storm and wind protection

  • The hirer shall ensure that the stage is secured against storms and wind during the hire period. The operation of the stage must be stopped from the wind speed described in the operating instructions for the respective stage.
  • At wind force 8 (wind speed of 62 km/h), operation on the platform must be stopped and the measures must be implemented in accordance with the operating instructions.

7. Authorisations and safeguards

  • The hirer must obtain the necessary permits, authorisations and licences for the installation and operation of the stage from the authorities independently.
  • The following test documents are available on request:
    • Proof of stability from structural engineering office/engineer.
    • Test books for all structures that require an execution licence in accordance with legal requirements.

8. Changes to the stage

  • Changes to the stage are only permitted after consultation with the landlord.
